May 10 is Mother’s Day in Mexico.
Last year, Excelsior reported:
“Under the premise ‘May 10 is not a party, it’s a fight and a protest’, members of the Movement for Our Disappeared in Mexico collective, made up mainly of mothers, marched from the Angel of Independence to the esplanade of the Monument to the Revolution to demand justice from the government for their disappeared children.”
