PBI-Honduras accompanies CNTC at meeting with campesino groups, expresses concern about violence against territorial defenders

On October 17, PBI-Honduras tweeted:

“#PBI accompanies @CntcTegucigalpa [National Union of Rural Workers] during the audience of 25 people from the campesino groups ‘Men and Women of Faith’ and ‘United to the countryside’. We express concern about the levels of violence and criminalization faced by defenders of land and territory.”

The Peace Brigades International-Honduras Project began accompanying the National Union of Rural Workers (CNTC) in May 2018.
