Her Chihuahua-based organization CONTEC accompanies and supports Indigenous communities in their resistance struggles in the Sierra Tarahumara.

MAY 8 – Accompanying water protectors in the fight against fracking

Join us on Sunday May 8 to hear Colombian environmental defenders Yuvelis Morales and Carolina Agón who have both received death threats due to their opposition to fracking in Puerto Wilches, Santander. They will be joined by Oil Change International researcher Bronwen Tucker who will speak about the role Canadian corporations have in fracking in Colombia.
