PBI-Colombia accompanies CREDHOS at meeting with Amnesty International and communities in Santa Rosa del Sur, Bolivar

On September 1, CREDHOS tweeted:

“We began our day in Santa Rosa del Sur, Bolívar, listening together with @Amnesty International to peasant communities and organizations, victims, women, LGBTIQ+, peace signatories, Afro-descendants and people with disabilities.

They have expressed their concern about the high level of insecurity suffered by social and community leaders. They place special emphasis on the leadership that has defended the Serranía [mountain range] de San Lucas and the bodies of water; who have been victimized by armed groups.”

The Peace Brigades International-Colombia Project has accompanied the Regional Corporation for the Defence of Human Rights (CREDHOS) since 1994.
